For Owl Class WW2 day, the children did a range of activities. In the morning, we took on the role of evacuees and wrote letters to home explaining our experiences after researching the accounts of real evacuees. After play, we were all invited to a WW2 café, which included spam sandwiches! After lunch, we took part in a number of games that were popular in the 1940s, such as pick-up sticks, jacks and battleships.
