Owl Class have tidied and weeded the garden area, with help from Paul Daines. They then picked a few of our carrots!
Owl class advertised, baked and held a cake sale to raise funds for a visitor for their Mayan WOW day. She will be coming into class in October to run a chocolate-based workshop where the children will be learning about the history of chocolate, tasting different chocolate types and creating their own chocolate brand.
Badger class enjoyed exploring which objects in the classroom were magnetic.
Badger Class enjoyed picking tomatoes, cucumber and apples today and especially enjoyed eating them!! We are looking forward to picking all the apples on the tree and eating them at break times.
As an end-of-year reward, Owl class had an afternoon water fight!
The Owl and Badger classes performed an amazing production of Aladdin.
Badger Class and Owl Class have been busy in the garden area.
We have now had the new replacement trim trail equipment installed. The children are enjoying the tyres, ladder, roll bars, balance beams and wooden stepping bars. It is lovely to see so many children trying out the new equipment and trying their hardest to complete the trail.
Badger Class enjoyed their Geography trip to Royston, by train.
On Friday Hedgehog Class made a bug hotel.
We have been busy planting vegetables in our garden area.
On Wednesday, we welcomed the Skipping Ninja as part of Skipping Week. He led an assembly and even had Mrs Muir joining in! Each class then completed a workshop in the glorious sunshine outside.
Skipping Ninja taught the children new tricks and skills as well as all sorts of different ways to skip!
